Jay, I never went inside and I didn't have any real interest in custom cars and still don't. We would only see it occasionally either through the front window or in the yard. There were many cars being built and they moved around all the time. Now that I know they built more then one it may  have been some of the others we saw at times. At that time we didn't even know it was going to be a Batmobile.

Looks like that may be Daytona beach. Wonder what's going on in that pic?  Most all of those cars look to be stock & not race cars so probably not a 'real' race.
But if it is some kinda race, my money's on 'ol Mad Dog.  :001:

Back to the George Barris thing for a minute, his daughter is having a garage/estate sale there this weekend, tons of old memorabilia, toys, books, poster etc. I don't know about the cars but she said everything is being sold off..
