I have a trailer like the one the midget is on, that is the only other one I have ever seen.

Anyone else have or seen one?  It doesn't use a trailer ball just two pivots under the tow car.

The ol' man had one of those one-wheel trailers for a while when I was a kid. Makes it easy to back up since the wheel pivots & doesn't pivot at the car.
Currently they do make one-wheel trailers to be pulled behind motorcycles but I think they all pivot at the bike.
The one the ol' man had may very well have been one of the Allstate ones since everybody up here used to have to order a lot of stuff from Sears.

Always wondered what they do with cars like that? Just trash them or do they disassemble them and put the intact parts back into play as replacement parts in the new model year?

I did the old Mustangs Across America trip a couple of times. Last in '09. They gave the organizer a "mule", white Mustang GT. After the road trip was over it was to be crushed. Always thought that was a waste of a perfectly good car.
That was what prompted me to ask...wondering if this was a decades old process. The "mule" had a serial/vin number and MI plates, factory dealer plates if memory serves.
