When I was fourteen years old, I was amazed at how unintelligent my father was. By the time I turned twenty-one, I was astounded at how much he had learned in the last seven years!

August 10, 1957. The guy buys the Sunliner brand new in NYC, then drives to TX to marry his new bride. After a little while decides it's too hot driving the '57, and trades it for a '54 Lincoln with AC !

Finish it off with one 57 and one 58 set up, take it to the car show and the guy whose uncle had the 200 mpg carb will tell you how this was a special factory option for dealers in areas where the deer population was high, and there was a guy who wanted to be a missionary had a station wagon with it and the red ants could attack the concrete under a single wide trailer and .....
Just when you think you have heard it all, another one comes along and the story gets better.  They usually wearing a Snap On Tool jacket.

Yeah, those are normally the guys whose fathers uncles second cousin had Henry Fords personal factory specially built 67 Boss 429 Mustang convertible that had 2000 horsepower and would pull wheelies in all 4 gears, and got 47 miles per gallon with a top secret experimental carburator.
1959 Meteor 2 door sedan , 428 Cobra Jet 4 speed. Been drag racing Fords (mostly FEs) 47 years and counting.
Previous 50s Fords include 57 Custom 4 door, 2 57 Ford Sedan Deliveries, 59  Country Sedan, and as a 9 year old, fell in love with the family 58 2 door Ranch Wagon.
